The story so far...
While studying graphic design at York College I discovered an album by Jesus Jones called 'Liquidizer' I bought the album not for the music, but because I was captivated by the sleeve art which inspired me to set my sights on becoming a record sleeve designer.
In 1994 I landed my dream job building an in-house design studio for Mushroom Records. This was a steep learning curve for me as I was flying solo. The band Garbage was the jewel in the crown and I produced all their artwork and promotional materials for their first two albums.
In 2002 I landed a role at Getty Images working on their creative marketing materials for various image collections, but the studio relocated to Seattle and so in 2004 I co-founded Them Design, a design + branding agency with a Getty Colleague.
In 2008 I joined Leagas Delaney which was my first step into the world of advertising and although a tough place to work, I absolutely loved it.
Over the next decade I worked full-time and freelance at several top global agencies including: Leo Burnett, Adam&EveDDB, BBH, Cheil and VML.
The highlight of my career so far was in 2022 when I landed the role of Design Director at new London start up Five By Five Global, leading their integrated design studio.
Today I am a highly experienced, well rounded designer / design director specialising in brand campaign work, visual identity + branding looking for my next exciting opportunity. – Let’s go!
